Choose a color and an icon for your list, (Mac users need to double click their newly created list before they can select a color and an icon).Tap Add List at the bottom of your screen.I have an unused iPad from my partner's former job and I'm unsure if it will run well, so I'll try that sometime this week to see if I can use it as a dedicated Todoist device or extra monitor via Sidecar, and if it doesn't I'll probably use an Always on Top capable browser until this becomes a native feature. This has only become slightly better with the addition of widgets in iOS14 so I see Todoist in limited views on my phone screen, but it's not as good as having my fully functioning task list at hand all the time. If I lose Todoist among my sea of windows and applications I need for my job, sometimes I don't check it for weeks at a time. I'm super good at getting reminded about something via pop-up notification and forgetting about it literally two minutes later, which is why I am looking for a persistent solution to have my Todoist in my face all the time. ![]() I work a Support Engineer job so depending on what comes in and to meet service level agreements I have to constantly reassess what is priority to me and jump from case to case without forgetting other responsibilities, and I also use Todoist + a bullet journal to keep everything in front of me depending on what I'm doing. My executive function is really that bad for me, but as long as I have a plan I that helps mitigate it I can function and thrive pretty well. If I want anything eaten and not forgotten about, especially if I cannot see it, I have to spend time labeling my fridge every week. I eat vegetables when they're encased in clear bins that I've bought so I can see everything, but will lose the same ones to spoilage in the veggie drawer because I forget about them. One trait that is one of my biggest problems with my specific flavor of ADHD that I've struggled with my whole life is lack of object permanence, which is common. I have no idea why you would want a task list always open, on top of your other windows. ![]()
